South African Women in GIS – Sharing Inspiring Stories is a collection of stories that showcases the lives and trials of sixteen women in the geospatial industry by revealing their personal journeys, best career practices, lessons learned, and the challenges they overcame to achieve success in their respective careers.
South African Women in GIS – Sharing Inspiring Stories aims to motivate young, up-and-coming geospatial science professionals by inspiring them to push on despite the odds and to remain focused on attaining their goals.

The Lemek Foundation is a non-profit organisation, established to develop and empower previously disadvantaged communities. The Foundation’s mission it to create awareness in STEM learning for school going children.
